just be crushed and pulverized into nothingness the moment you get the first ad on your site.

The bare and bitter truth is that the presence of an ad on your blog does not necessarily mean that you are making money online. Despite the high handedness, we still need the two institutions to make money online as bloggers. We have no choice but simply learn to be extra careful lest we become victim to their high handedness. Both the blogger and the entity giving him the ads are driven by acute self interest and apprehension. All sides want to make money and the blogger is always apprehensive that if no ads are getting clicked then the ads are simply superficial.

Do not click on your ads out of greed hoping to make thousands of dollars online. The truth is that you can’t make thousands blogging online. That is a pipe dream if not a mere illusion. Do not mastermind the clicking of your ads by third parties either. Google or Chitika will find out and you will be crucified. That the two institutions are high handed on their approach to those who click their own ads is a generalization too far to go, but it is the best way to explain the sad fate that awaits those who plan to make money online by clicking on their own ads.

Caution is direly needed especially among bloggers who are a decade late in the field of making money online. The field is full and competition means that to fight up the food chain you must be ready to work hard and smart. Learn to fight for the traffic not the dubious means of making money by clicking on your ads. Clicking on your own ads has never been the source of prosperity for bloggers hoping to make money online. It never will.
